About the Item
A compact, soft, comfortable armchair with a strong personality has joined the MDF Italia collection. The Mia soft design comes from the simple gesture of folding a cushion to create a nest - a shelter for relaxing moments. Mia collection is characterized by a soft compact armchair, sofas and pouf, with a strong character enhanced by its tone-on-tone or contrasting trim. The armchair is available with a fixed or with a 360° returning swivel base. The sofas, are integrating the collection offering three upholstered elements with smaller dimensions matching any ambient.
STRUCTURE
The supporting structure is made of solid wood and plywood with a base equipped with elastic belts; the filling is in variable density polyurethane foam, and the cover in polyester padding.
COVER
The Mia collection is characterized by an extrathick decorative trim which emphasizes its sinuosity by tracing its edges and intersections. The trim can be in the same tone of the cover, or in a contrast colour based on the customers’ choice. The fabric cover embraces the entire product and is tailored to enhance its shape and softness.
For these peculiarities it is recommended, for ordinary
maintenance, a cleaning of the surface with steam or a simple
soft cloth with water and ammonia, wiping the fabric gradually
and checking the result once dry. Finally, if for some reason you
have to proceed to remove the fabric for cleaning, use a
“gentle dry cleaning” due to the presence of the contrasting
profile, made of a different fabric than the one of the covering.
The cover is removable, and it is recommended to lean on
skilled upholsterers in the sector, both for removing and fitting
it back on the product, to obtain the best final result.
Extra covers can be purchased separately.
