About the Item
Early production Memphis First chair designed by Michele de Lucchi this chair that was purchased by the original owner who was working at the de Lucchi design studio in the 1980s in Milano. One of the better known designs of the Memphis design era, the chair is a reference to the celestial bodies moving in space in relation to one another. Constructed of powdered coated steel frame and lacquered wood. The round seat back is designed to move with the seater.
