Rare vintage equipale chair from Mexico, dating to the 1930s. Entirely handcrafted using traditional techniques, it features a pigskin leather seat and backrest stretched over a cedar or palo dulce wood frame, with interlaced slats forming the base. The backrest and seat are decorated with an original hand-painted Mexican folk art scene, depicting a folkloric couple dancing alongside a pack mule.
