Mid 19th century elm captains armchair circa 1860.
Good quality character armchair made from solid elm. Shaped back and arm linked with turned spindles to the seat. Turned legs united by stretcher.
Obvious surface marks and natural movement to woodwork which only adds to the character. Structurally sound and ready for everyday use.
