Mid 20th C Chinese Rosewood Armchair in the Ming Style. Very elegant lines, handmade. Very sturdy as a desk or side chair.
Hong Kong label under the seat. During the period when this was made we were not trading with mainland China. Manufacture was in Hong Kong frequently with Chinese craftsmen. A quality 20th C piece based on classic Ming design.
