Mid-Century Fiberglass Easy Chairs by Miroslav Navrátil, Czechoslovakia 1960s Set of 2 — Professionally reupholstered in bouclé These sculptural fiberglass easy chairs were designed by Miroslav Navrátil in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. Their fluid, organic form and comfortable shell construction represent the innovative spirit of Czech post-war modernism. Each chair features a fiberglass shell resting on a solid beechwood base, creating a refined contrast between industrial material and natural warmth. The softly curved backrest and integrated armrests provide excellent comfort, while the tapered legs give the design a light and architectural stance. Both pieces have been professionally reupholstered in premium bouclé fabric, adding a soft, tactile quality that complements the sculptural silhouette. The wooden bases retain a warm original patina with only minor traces of use, consistent with age.
