About the Item

Sophia Loren is an Italian film actress, fruit of Hollywood’s golden era. Encouraged to enroll in acting lessons after entering a beauty pageant contest, Loren began her movie career in the 1950s at the age of 15. Revisiting this legend’s career, Ottiu created this mid-century upholstery piece, the Loren Contemporary Armchair, composed of subtle lines but with a strong character. Its nickeled nails contrast with a high-quality cotton velvet and its tubular feet are coated in a luxurious silver leaf, finished with high gloss varnish. These combinations end up creating a very pleasant environment in any luxury living space.
