About the Item
Italian Mid-century modern chromed steel and velvet Zeta armchairs by Paul Tuttle for Strassle International, 1970s.
Pair of Zeta armchairs in chromed steel and original corduroy velvet fabric from seventies, with padded seats, in dark brown color, almost black. Curved and chromed metal structure, with great weight and thickness. Seat and back padded and covered with their original fabric, that cover a new internal padding.
Designed by Paul Tuttle for Strassle International.
1970s
Vintage conditions, some oxidations on the steel and several signs for the usage and time on the velvet, on which have been applied some small repairs, in order to preserve the original fabric, still usable.
Measurements in cm 67x90x77h and 42h for the seat
This seat is suitable both for a formal place such as an office or a waiting room, and for an informal place such as a bedroom, a living room, a dining room or an entrance hall.

Paul Tuttle
Paul Tuttle was born in Springfield, Missouri, and lived in St. Louis until World War II. As an Air Force cartographer, he was stationed in India, where the architecture and landscape influenced his pursuit of a design career.
