About the Item

Set of Mid-Century red plastic stacking arm chairs inspired by Robin Day's iconic designs for British institutional furniture. Each chair features molded acrylic shell seating with ergonomic contours and an oval cutout handle in the backrest, supported by gray enameled metal tubular legs with protective feet caps. The stackable design allows for efficient storage while maintaining the sculptural form characteristic of 1960s contract furniture. The vibrant red shells demonstrate the period's bold approach to color in functional design, while the four-legged metal frames provide stability and durability. The integral arms flow seamlessly from the molded plastic shells, creating a cohesive form that balances comfort with practicality.
