Restored BW-14 Armchair, 1960s This elegant BW-14 armchair is a restored original from the 1960s, manufactured by the Głuchołazy Furniture Factory in Poland. Produced from 1968 for both local and export markets, the model represents one of the finest examples of Polish mid-century modern design. Its clean lines, light proportions, and distinctive wooden frame reflect the craftsmanship and aesthetic values of the era. The structure is made of solid beech wood, carefully stripped of its old varnish, stained in a warm walnut tone, and protected with hard oil for durability. The seat has been completely refurbished with new webbing and high-quality foam to ensure comfort and longevity. Perfect for a living room, reading corner, or studio interior, this armchair combines historical authenticity with modern comfort. Each piece has been renewed with respect for its original character while highlighting the natural beauty of the wood and fabric. About the fabric: Dedar - Amuleto The brilliant light-catching colours of the most beautiful precious stones are relive on a jacquard velvet that plays with the geometric perfection of the triangle and its infinite repetition on an ottoman ground. The colour range and geometric shapes evoke the art of jewellery making. The 366 armchair is an icon of the polish design of the PRL period. The famous armchair was designed in 1962 by the Polish interior designer and furniture designer Jozef Marian Chierowski. Produced in the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Swiebodzice. The chair has a simple, modernist form. It consists of an upholstered seat combined with a wooden backrest. The organic shape is typical of the 1960s style. The chair is very ergonomic and comfortable, as the furniture designs of that time were largely focused on the user. Due to its small size, the furniture fits perfectly into the interiors of contemporary apartments, perfectly meeting the needs of customers.
