About the Item
Enjer Larsen and Aksel Bender Madsen met at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and together went on to produce numerous pieces encapsulating the essence of elegance, functionality and simplistic designs.
This chair is a wonderful example of these considerations, with the clean and simple lines creating an elegant and classic feel to the overall design. This chair is upholstered in the original black leather, that has a gorgeous characterful patina, and is set on four hardwood legs. The piece was designed for master cabinet maker Willy Beck in Denmark during the 1950s.
