Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this super rare and highly collectable near New Old Stock, Mid Century Modern Green Leather Beta armchair made by Time Bates for Pieff Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price I have another pair of these chairs listed under my other items A very well made, decorative and extremely comfortable armchair, this is the only British racing green example I have ever seen, it is in Museum quality condition, as mentioned I would nearly go as far as to say new old stock, it looks sublime from every angle These chairs are so famous and collectable due to their construction, they work with a sling system much the same as a hammock and we all know how comfortable they are! The rubber "sling" is made by and stamped from Pirelli, the Formula One tyre manufacturer Condition wise, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, it is in amazing Dimensions Height:- 63cm Width:- 60cm Depth:- 78cm Seat height:- 43cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
