Ombre armchair
Between fullness and emptiness, the Ombre armchair tames the light. Its oak frame highlights the double cane work that filters the reflections of the velvet seat. The whole evokes a subtle balance: the warmth of the wood, the lightness of the weave, presence and absence. Ombre is a silent seat, designed to capture time and light.
About the designer
Charlotte Besson-Oberlin honed her experience and taste for sober, pure decor at the Christian Liaigre design office, during the projects she led for 11 years around the world, first as an interior designer and then as head of furniture design. From these years, she retains a rigorous approach to execution, a taste for noble materials, a concern for perfect finishes, and a constant search for the best design for each client. Charlotte Besson-Oberlin created dix9mai to add her personality to this valuable experience and offer designs with clean lines that incorporate unexpected touches to ensure that the decor never becomes static.
