Contemporary Design Works is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Bodrum and Miami. Led by Founder and Head Designer Pinar Irmak Caglar, CDW has operated since 2014 in architecture, interiors, furniture, and landscape design, overseeing projects end-to-end—from concept through fabrication and installation. The studio’s portfolio includes hotels, boutique hotels, multi-residential complexes, and private villas, each featuring site-specific, custom-designed furniture as an essential element of the project. CDW collaborates with premier ateliers and workshops, ensuring meticulous craftsmanship and material excellence. From hand-carved stone to sustainably sourced woods and fine metals, our pieces balance sculptural presence with functional adaptability. The studio’s signature aesthetic combines contemporary lines with unique materials and lasting proportions—producing timeless yet bold works. In 2024, we expanded to Miami with a second design studio and production facility, enabling closer coordination of fabrication and quality control. CDW also founded CDW Art: a platform partnering with international artists to integrate collectible design into limited-edition furnishings. Under Pınar Irmak Caglar’s vision, CDW remains committed to creating enduring, harmonious design—rooted in place, refined in form, and distinguished by excellence.
