About the Item
Scrolled arm ends and ribbed curved supports ending in gilt rosettes on the skirt rails. Raised on tapering fluted cylindrical legs. Upholstered in fine pale tone petit point featuring a courting couple in a landscape on one, and a lady in a garden on the other, both framed by fringed ribbon motifs. The seats with chateaus in landscapes, and upholstered manches as well.
Dimensions: H. 34 1/4", W. 22", Depth 21", seat H. 17"
Condition: The chairs worn overall with various signs of age and use including stable age cracks to one crest rail, age-related losses to the paint and worn upholstery with a few threadbare areas and some old stains however presenting in a fine and authentic manner.
