About the Item
Pair of 19th century oak and leather armchairs circa 1890.
Good quality pair of show frame wing back armchairs. Complete with original brown leather which still shows traces of an embossed pattern on the back rest.
Art nouveau feel to the carved arms and front legs, each with hand carved elements, with the front legs terminating on a paw foot.
Leather in good condition for age, with obvious and typical staining and patina that leather takes on over the years.
A fine addition to any household.
Minor surface marks to wood work.
