Pair of French 19th century Revival Louis XIII style throne armchairs with hand carved figures on the raised arm rests and top of the chair backs.
These quality throne armchairs feature high slanted backs, the velvet upholstery contrasts nicely with the warmth of the oak wood. The armchairs also feature fluted conjoint legs.
Constructed with oak, they are strong enough to be used daily and their wide seats makes them particularly comfortable. The velvet fabric is in very good condition.
Minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.
