Pair of 19th century French fauteuil walnut armchairs, circa 1870.
Fine pair of french carved walnut armchairs, circa 1870. Nice proportions on this pair of chairs, which original tapestry covering which depicts a tree on both the seat and back. Carved to the top of the back rest and front rail.
Tapestry work on seat and back in generally good condition, arm rests have become threadbare, rip to fabric on back panel. 1 back rest support to 1 chair no longer present.
