About the Item

Pair of 19th century swedish gilt and ebonised armchairs circa 1860. Pair of fine quality shaped back gilt armchairs. Unusual shaped back with ebonised leaf detailing contrasting with the gilt. Egyptian revival mounts below the arms. Standing on tapered legs. Upholstered in later silk material. Gilt in original condition with wear and losses.  Fabric in good order with minor fading. Seat height: 18" Seat width: 21" Seat depth: 21 1/4"
