Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this pair of exquisite circa 1920’s Art Deco Burr Walnut framed armchairs with Green Velour upholstery that is part of a suite Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price I have the matching sofa listed under my other items A very good looking and well made pair, I purchased this set with a view to reupholstering it in either leather or Mulberry silk velvet fabric however the green velour is just about as English Country House as you could wish for, it has aged exquisitely and has a lovely look and feel. The frames are Burr Walnut and they have a wonderful grain to them Condition wise, its exactly as pictured, the fabric is in useable order, it has the odd tiny age related imperfection but it is totally fine, the timber has been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished, it has lots of age and use related patina marks, please view the detailed pictures as they paint a very accurate portrait of the timber condition, it is by no means perfect, if that's what you are looking for then this isn't the pair of armchairs for you, this should be seen more as an original patina example Dimensions - Height:- 83cm Width:- 74.5cm Depth:- 73cm Seat height:- 39cm Inside arm width:- 37cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
