Pair of burl walnut Empire style armchairs with upholstered seats and backs featuring fine craftsmanship with a square top rail and stylized carved accent on front of each arm support and a carved detail at the top of cabriole legs. The chairs are accentuated with brass tack nailheads highlighting the simple form.
Dimensions: 23.25" W x 19.75" D x 37" H, 16.25" SH
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include time borne wear to the finish especially to armrests, one with age split to top rail; worn and stained upholstery and despite the wear the Chairs present in a particularly refined manner.
