About the Item
A beautiful pair of antique Swedish armchairs in satin birch. They were recently imported from Sweden, and date from around the 1900-1920 period.
The quality is outstanding and they are well sprung, and very comfortable to relax in. They have a gorgeous design in the Chippendale style, with scrolled acanthus leaf armrests and claw and ball feet. The satin wood has a stunning colour, with wonderful light and dark silky grain patterns.
We have had the frames fully stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and they have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent throughout.
