About the Item

An impressive and beautifully designed pair of antique Swedish neoclassical armchairs. They are in the Neoclassical style, they were recently imported from Sweden and date from around the 1900-1910 period. The quality is outstanding, and they are of lovely proportions. The frames are beautifully curved, the have very high quality ormolu mounts with Egyptian inspired heads on the arm rests. We have had the frames re-polished and they have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb throughout. Width – 24 inches , 62 cm Depth – 24 inches , 62 cm Height – 31 inches , 79 cm Seat height – 17 inches , 43 cm
