Pair of chairs, solid oak, Sweden, 1950s
Sculptural pair of nordic monk chairs in stained, solid oak. Not only do these chairs have a very interesting, beautiful frame, moreover, the chairs feature detailed, delicate carvings that add to the sculptural character of the chairs. Another special detail is the triangular shape of the seating, giving it an almost geometrical character. The dark color of the stained oak adds to the graceful look of the chairs.
