About the Item
The chairs are richly decorated all over with a floral and foliate design. Writhing five-clawed dragons rising above a single mountain set amongst crashing waves adorn both sides of each back splat. A picturesque mountain village scene graces the seats.
One chair features deep red arm braces (the color of the empress), the other rich yellow gold (the color of the emperor).
