About the Item
A striking and high quality pair of French 19th century Restauration Period Mahogany armchairs, in the manner of Jacob-Desmalter, circa 1830. This wonderful pair of armchairs is raised by turned circular tapered legs leading to vertical blocks flanking the bowed front apron. Above are the spindle arm supports with the spherical terminals and upholstered armrests lead to the upholstered rectangular back. Exceptional quality and condition throughout.
