Elevate your space with this beautifully crafted pair of antique French Louis XV-style carved cane back armchairs, dating to circa 1900. These refined and elegant chairs are a testament to the timeless beauty of Rococo-inspired French design, combining intricate craftsmanship with graceful lines and comfortable form.
Each armchair features a finely hand-carved solid wood frame, showcasing ornate detailing including foliate scrollwork, floral crests, scalloped seat rails, and elegant cabriole legs. The cane back and cane seat are meticulously woven and remain in good condition with one or two very minor imperfections, providing both visual lightness and structural integrity.
What sets this pair apart is the addition of light pink to soft red upholstered seat cushions, adding a luxurious pop of color and additional comfort. The cushions create a harmonious contrast with the natural wood finish and give the chairs a more inviting, romantic ambiance—ideal for both traditional and eclectic interiors. The pair is in good antique condition with the exception of some light surface scratches, Minor finish loss and normal age related wear. The cane also has one or two very minor imperfections as shown. However this does not affect its functionality and is not an eye sore. As to be expected with items of age and use.
