About the Item
A pair of French Louis XVI-era armchairs, made of walnut wood, with hand-carved details. The chairs rest on circular fluted legs with carved rosettes at the top. The armrests are also fluted, and the oval backrest medallion ends with a floral carving at the top. It retains its original nailhead trim. They are presented unupholstered, although the seat has been reinforced. They have a beautiful finish befitting their period.
