Pair of Bauhaus / Mid-Century armchairs by Gelenka from Germany, circa 1950.
Curved beech wood armrests. Seat with elastic straps and small wooden parts. Restored condition with beautiful shellac finish.
Manufacturer: Gelenka-Patentmöbelfabrik, Wolfhagen, 1940s-1950s
Design: probably Ernst Breitenborn and/or Erich Dieckmann for Gelenka.
