About the Item

A pair of early 19th century George IV mahogany library arm chairs. The chairs have a high curved back with a carved scroll decoration to the top. Beautiful tapering fluted front legs with casters and a scrolling arm rest above. Both perfectly upholstered in a green silk material. The chairs are in good condition, the material is used but in very good order. (Circa 1830) Height 90cm (35.4 inches) Width 59cm (23.2 inches) Depth 76cm (29.9 inches)
