Stylish pair of low lounge chairs from Italy, 1970s, featuring white lacquered wooden frames and original cognac Skai upholstery. A refined example of Italian modernist design with a relaxed, architectural presence.
This elegant pair of low lounge chairs was produced in Italy during the 1970s and reflects the clean, architectural language of Italian modernist design from the period.
The chairs feature solid white lacquered wooden frames with cylindrical legs and horizontal stretchers, creating a strong yet visually light structure. The generously padded seat and backrest are upholstered in original cognac-colored Skai, a high-quality leatherette widely used in Italian furniture production of the 1960s and 1970s for its durability and refined appearance. A subtle central button detail on the backrest adds a sculptural and graphic accent.
