About the Item

Pair of excentric shaped armchairs by ISA, Bergamo 1950s. The lovely Italian design language is underlined by the powdery, soft velvet fabric Martora in turquoise-acqua color by Rubelli, Venezia. The seating comfort is very pleasant due to the high backrest and the seat cushion. The armchair is slim and high and therefore has a light-footed, elegant appearance. The slightly tapered legs were waxed again and are also relatively high also this emphasizes the elegance of the armchairs. The lighter and darker parts of the fabric result from the high floor, which is not always in the same direction and thus creates a lively fabric image and gives the armchair its homely character - the feel of the fabric is soft and flowing. The objects are completely re-upholstered. It is a pleasure to sit in this armchair - so much comfort and visual appeal.
