About the Item

Rare and beautiful pair of brown velvet armchairs designed by Italian sculptor Franz Sartori for Flexform, Milan, Italy, 1965 Sartori is best known for his organic sculptures, but he also designed furniture that reflected his sculptural aesthetic. Sartori's sculptural work is distinguished by the geometric design of the sides and the curved lines of the base. These beautiful yet comfortable armchairs are a pleasure to sit in. These armchairs are in original condition; new upholstery and cushions are recommended. These armchairs are a splendid example of 1960s Italian design.
