About the Item
These two armchairs perfectly embody the spirit of 1950s Italian midcentury, with that blend of sculptural elegance and lightness typical of the finest Milanese design.
The high, winged backrest (pronounced wingback) opens into generous, theatrical, almost architectural curves, creating a protective and monumental embrace, reminiscent of Gio Ponti's graphic signatures.
The wide, sculpted armrests descend with sinuous grace, creating a refined contrast between full volume and elusive lines.
The low, deep seat invites refined relaxation, typical of designer lounge chairs of the period.
