About the Item
Extremely rare set of two Mid-Century Modern tall back folding armchairs designed by Angel I. Pazmino in the 1970s for Muebles de Estilo, Ecuador. The chairs are executed in wood and thick espresso colored saddle leather embossed with different Inca patterns. Each chair has a unique, complementary back design, the seats share the same handmade pattern. Purchased in Dominican Republic in the 1970s by an American Executive working in South America.

- Condition:Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. The leather has been lightly cleaned and the arms lightly restored. The frames are tight and sturdy. Although the chairs fold we do not recommend shipping or storing folded as the leather will brush up against the frame. Both chairs are unmarked.
