About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of fully restored, vintage, Mid-Century Modern / Art Deco style armchairs with fluted backs
A good looking, comfortable and well made pair of armchairs, they have some age to them although I’m not sure how much, they are wonderfully proportioned, you could literally use them for anything and they would work, occasional armchairs, sitting room, office, café, they are just the right size all round and really quite stylish with sloped arms and fluted backs
They have been fully restored by my leather polisher using the same black leather dye that he uses on my Eames lounge armchairs and ottomans, they have a nice mid century finish
Condition wise, they have age related patina marks here and there as you would expect, they are a very usable decorative pair of armchairs

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
