Pair of modernist armchairs in fabric and wood.
Reupholstered as new, wood refinished.
French work by Roger Landault circa 1950.

Born in 1919, Roger Landault entered the Lycée des Arts Appliqués in Paris in 1933 at the age of 14.
In 1945, he joined the Studium-Louvre, then directed by Etienne-Henri Martin, whom he succeeded as artistic director until 1935.
Some of his creations are on display at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
