Pair of charming Scandinavian Modern armchairs made in Sweden at "Nässjö Stolfabrik" the 1960s. The chairs are made in dark stained beech and retains the original wool upholstery on the seats. Sturdy design with elegant details. They were bought by the original owner in 1961 in a high end furniture store in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Important and rare pair of wingback armchairs designed by Eva Koppel in 1947 and manufactured at Slagelse Møbelværk, Denmark. Made from dark stained beech and upholstered in White "Savak" Wool. Eva Koppel was, along with Nanna Ditzel, one of the most prominent female designers in the Danish Modern movement in the mid 20th century. In the late 1930s she studied under Alvar Aalto and together with her husband Niels Koppel she was responsible for several famous buildings in Copenhagen.
