Just in, this wonderful pair of vintage hand carved Rosewood Howdah or Elephant saddle chair from Thailand.
This pair is made of Carved Trek wood and Rosewood.
These Howdah Elephant Saddle Accent Chairs features solid wood construction and beautiful carved details, the background is Ox Blood color with a Gold wash.
The seats have been reupholstered in a French antique Paisley Shawl from c. 1880.
Very good antique condition, consistent with age and use.
