Pine and saddle leather arm chairs, France 1940s. A striking pair of French armchairs in pinewood dating from the 1940s with original saddle leather seats, backrest, and large domed metal studs. Standing on rectangular legs joined by a broad carved front stretcher and held together with the original iron bolt pins. This particular chair is as solid and stable as the day it was made, and for its age, it is still in good condition with a nice used patina, and it will look great in many a midcentury or modern design interior. These chairs would be an eye-catching addition to any interior, such as the living room, family room, screening room or office. It also perfectly fits in a hospitality or corporate location like a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club or luxury boutique.
