About the Item

Excellent and scarce armchair by Jorgen Matz and John Sylvester for Bramin of Denmark. 1959 design. Made of afromasia (in the rosewood family) and leather. Lovely sculpted arms and cantilevered joinery where the arms go through the back. Nice wide floating seat. The canted position of the backrest gives the chair a lot of vitality. *Due to time, labor costs, and heightened restrictions on Brazilian rosewood, we are not currently offering international sales of CITES-protected furniture, decor, or related items. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
