Pair of early 20th Century Josef Hoffman Fledermaus armchairs, constructed by Josef and Jacob Kohn of Austria. Newly upholstered in Josef Hoffmann designed linen fabric. The finish appears to be original and is a dark reddish / brown/ black color in lacquer applied upon the beech bent wood frame. Marked with the Josef Jacob Kohn paper label under each chair.
