This ultra-rare set of Model 800 Malabar lounge chairs has recently undergone a comprehensive and transformative restoration process featuring all new upholstery. The solid walnut legs and frames have been hand-sanded and re-finished bringing the woodgrains and tones back to their original luster showing only minor remaining scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided) but showing no gouges, stains or other wear whatsoever.
The upholstery, painstakingly hand-stitched in accordance with the original scheme, has been redone in a thick-cut vinyl just as the original vinyl. The straps have been replaced as well as the cushions with new, medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity.
This stunning set of stylish loungers is incredibly comfortable, structurally solid and ready for a lifetime more of use thanks to their recent restoration process.
