About the Item
The TÄRÖ armchair is made of rattan and pine wood.
Its construction is lightweight but sturdy, and the main material used is rattan, which gives it a warm, organic look.
The seat is spacious and the backrest is gently rounded for comfort.
It is part of the third IKEA PS collection and was designed by Thomas Sandell. To learn more about rattan and how to work with it, Sandell traveled to China and worked with a manufacturer there.
