About the Item
A finely formed Regency style accent chair lacquered black and ornately detailed with gilt design work throughout. Features a straight top rail, double-X splat, and high arms that elegantly curve to baluster arm supports over a rounded, caned seat. The apron is finely detailed with gilt navette tessellations, interrupted by square floral medallions heralding tapered front legs over dainty arrow feet.
Dimensions: 34.5” high by 19.5” wide by 18” deep, 17" seat height.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Presents well overall with wear commensurate with age and use. Some scattered finish wear, gilt finish loss, and light wear to the caning mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is colorful and refined
