About the Item
Set of two Bauhaus style cantilever S411 armchairs designed in the 1930s by Willem Hendrik Gispen and manufactured by Mücke Melder.
These iconic armchairs feature lacquered wooden armrests and chrome-plated tubular steel frames. The pieces have been fully restored: the wooden elements were refinished, and the seats reupholstered in a high-quality fabric with a geometric pattern echoing Bauhaus and mid-century aesthetics. The chrome remains original, showing a beautiful patina consistent with age and use.
