Please note this sale is for one armchair, the first picture shows two chairs however this is just to show you the reclining action
This chair was marketed at an Easy chair or chair couch, it reclines, has a footrest with two scissor sections, the arms retract, it has the original castors so the whole chair can be wheeled around, it really is a fantastic armchair and it makes life very easy
This is a super rare set as it comes with the original head rest and lumbar support cushion, both are removable and have been restored to the same standard as the chair. This piece also has an extra seat cushion, this is not standard on the chair and was custom ordered for additional support. The chair can naturally be used with or without the cushion, the leather has been fully upholstered on both sides of it so if the worst should happen and you mark damage or stain one side you can simply flip it over and you have a fresh side
The piece has been fully restored to include being lightly stripped back, its then been hand dyed this glorious whiskey brown colour, this colour is exclusive to my leather polishers, no two pieces ever come out exactly the same so this chair is unique, the timber has all been professionally French polished, this is the nicest and finest example you will see anywhere
Being a very old recliner armchair it will have some character, everything seems to work as it should, the back rest doesn't recline 100% perfectly straight, it leans slightly to one side as you can see in the pictures, otherwise it is just fine

Height:- 118cm, foot rest height 35cm at the lowest and 57cm at the highest
Width:- 73cm, width with the arms open 162cm
Depth:- 88cm, depth fully extended 192cm
Seat height:- 53cm

Condition

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
