About the Item

We are delighted to this very rare suite of original William Morris Richard Norman Shaw tabard seating with new Morris forest linen upholstery A very good looking and well-made suite, as exhibited in the V&A (Victorian Albert museum London) The whole set has been restored to include the frames checked and secured, cleaned waxed and polished, with new William Morris forest linen upholstery throughout This is one of the best looking examples I’ve come across, you can occasionally find single or pairs of armchairs but rarely the bench and never with chairs as well Bench dimensions: Height 93.5cm Width 105.5cm Depth 54cm Armchairs dimensions Height 98cm Width 60cm Depth 55cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
