About the Item
A large library armchair of generous proportions and of outstanding quality in the country house manner.
The chair displays a tall scrolled buttoned back leading to a pair of sweeping arms with a deep and wide comfortable seat.

The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid mahogany frame for upholstery with a refurbished coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added and complemented with a duck feather seat cushion.
This armchair is truly exceptional and it carries the largest proportions of any library armchair we have been fortunate to have in the collection.
