About the Item
Pair of 1960s armchairs with foam padding and two-tone vinyl leather upholstery.
The width of the seat makes them extremely comfortable, and even the backrest, while slightly stiff has an ergonomics that gives pleasant comfort.
The accuracy in creating the upholstery design is remarkable--each part of the chair has been lined and stitched so that the end result creates an optical effect.
The upholstery and padding were redone in the 1990s by Arredo Center, a renowned upholsterer in Trenton. Note the sophistication of the covered studs that finish the back of the chair. The cushions are removable and removable.
Perfect stitching.
The legs are a classic of the period: metal with brass ferrule.
Used very little, they are in excellent condition both aesthetically and structurally.
